SCHOOL SWIMMING. SIMPLIFIED.

Swimphony is a digital solution that facilitates the management, delivery, and evaluation of national curriculum school swimming programmes throughout the UK. Local Authorities, Leisure Operators and Swim Schools that utilise Swimphony are able to simplify the delivery of their programme, removing their reliance on paper based records and manual data entry. Pupil attendance, attainment, and national curriculum outcome data is captured by Swimming Teachers at poolside using the Swimphony App and is synchronised at the end of each lesson so that schools can analyse pupil performance in real time.

SWIMPHONY APP

The Swimphony Tablet Application provides all of the functions that a Swimming Teacher requires to maximise pool time, capture attainment data quickly and efficiently, and to deliver their lessons in a safe and controlled environment. Pupil attendance can be captured via the application rapidly from registers uploaded by their school in advance of the lesson, and all attainment data relating to skills, awards and distances can be reviewed and updated at any time.

FEATURES INCLUDE

Every Swimphony client is able to create their own custom award scheme and associated skills that are linked to national curriculum outcomes. The Swimphony tablet application provides an intuitive experience for Swimming Teachers to record and view the progress that each pupil makes in relation to skills, awards, distances and national curriculum outcomes achieved over time.
Swimphony provides many organisational and operational tools to Swimming Teachers in order to maximise the time that they have with pupils and to ensure that their lessons are delivered in a safe and controlled environment. Pupils can be placed into customisable groups so that classes can be organised quickly. Historic lesson notes are available at the touch of a button to ensure lesson continuity. Swimming Teachers are also able to capture an initial assessment for each pupil, forecast national curriculum outcomes, and manage the swimming aids that each pupil requires.
Swimming Teachers can record an initial assessment for pupils through the Swimphony App which provides a baseline metric when assessing individual and overall performance of school swimming programmes. Initial assessments allow our clients to answer questions such as how many total non-swimmers have been able to swim 25 metres unaided by the end of the programme.

Forecasting outcomes allows Swimming Teachers to communicate to schools how likely it is that their pupils will be able to achieve their national curriculum outcomes by the end of their block of swimming lessons. This allows pupils that require additional support to be identified so that appropriate support mechanisms can be put in place such as top-up lessons and additional swimming teachers.

Swimphony provides Swimming Teachers with secure access to pupil medical information, English as and additional language status, SEND status, number of swimming aids used, and individual lesson notes in order to support safe, effective, risk assessed lesson delivery for every pupil. All pupil data is encrypted within the tablet, and password protected to ensure that all data is safe and secure at all times.

SWIMPHONY WEB PORTALS

Swimphony allows programme administrators to manage, control and oversee every aspect of their school swimming programme via a simple and intuitive web portal. Programme administrators are able to manage schools, pools, timetables, instructors, award schemes, targets, and resources, allowing them to reduce admin, save time, and increase productivity.

Swimphony provides every school with access to their own secure web portal that allows them to upload pupil data and link pupils to their swimming time slots. Schools are able to view a comprehensive suite of reports and exports that allow them to fulfil their obligations to publish their year 6 national curriculum outcomes for school swimming. All pupil attendance and attainment data is updated after every lesson when Swimming Teachers synchronise the Swimphony App.

FEATURES INCLUDE

Attendance and attainment data is captured by Swimming Teachers during swimming lessons and this data is synchronised with the Swimphony database securely at the end of each lesson. This allows us to provide programme administrators and schools with real time performance data that can be used to monitor performance, identify areas of concern and generate insight reports to significantly improve all elements of your school swimming programme.

Swimphony offers full control over every element of school swimming programme delivery. Create, manage and monitor schools, Swimming Teachers, pools, timetables, award schemes, resources, targets and much, much more.

Swimphony provides access to a secure online web portal that allows every school to view the real time attendance and performance data for their whole school, each individual class, and each individual pupil within those classes. Using these reports, every school can ascertain the percentage and number of pupils that have swam each distance, completed each swimming award, and even compare their overall performance to the average for other schools in their geographical ward, or make a direct comparison with any other school. All of these reports can be filtered further to understand how gender, ethnicity, age, SEND status, and attendance impacts on performance outcomes.

Swimphony is web based, which means that it can be implemented by any local authority within a couple of hours and our experienced and knowledgeable team are on hand to help you every step of the way. What’s more, as the system is web based, you can access your Swimphony account from anywhere you have access to the internet.
